There were many queries about the Summer Band Album
The album will not be re-released. This is to protect the original idea of 500 CDs to cater for friends and fans who saw the Band (I only have four copies on CD

Recommendations for a starter guitar
How about a Korean built Fender Squier? It’s very cheap but sounds and looks great.

To Billy in California
To start playing tennis try to find a small inexpensive local club. I’m sure you’ll make friends and find someone to help your game. Good Luck!

Why don’t I play Hamer Guitars any more?
I do in the Studio and still see Paul Hamer whenever I can. He is a good friend!

The Gibson 330 in the early photo of me was only used up to joining Tull. I did record with it and have recently bought a Gibson 335 which features on my new solo album.

6 Instruments used on Thick as Brick and Passion Play albums were a 1959 Gibson Les Paul through hi-watt amps – no effects! Top
7 How do I keep fit?
I love running particularly on tour when each day presents new scenery. I run 4-5 miles a day. My other love is tennis. Julie, my wife is a formidable opponent! I became vegetarian for many years, which also helped. These days I am a little more flexible with my diet.

9 Current guitar.
On this years tour dates I shall be playing a Fender “Fat Strat” – a trusty workhorse.
