NEWS LETTER 2008!!!!
Well I guess one letter a year is better than none, so here goes! 2007 seemed to disappear in the blink of an eyelid. I think there were over 100 gigs, ranging from the UK to South America through Europe and finally Canada and the USA. |

It was a truly spectacular year; some friends were missed and
new friends were made, but in conclusion we worked our "butts"
off and were rewarded by a great response from our fans.
I guess no-one knows what to expect these days with line-up changes, guests and occasional string quartets. It's all been exhausting and amazing fun. 2008 seems to be turning out in a similar style, starting with a long UK tour. Being the 40th anniversary of the band is a great achievement and we hope to do the occasion justice! My family have moved house this year and it turned out to be a truly massive event with four months of building. However we love our "new" house and the area in South Devon is wonderful, with many superb pubs, restaurants and beautiful coastline.
I have had surgery on my left shoulder, due to an arthritic
condition, and will be out of service for a couple of months,
meaning that I will miss the Tull dates in Russia.
I'm in Canada at the moment, recuperating, although I couldn't resist a morning on the snowboard wrapped up in a sling, full ski "armour" and a thick pad of bubble wrap!!! Please don't tell my doctor or the rest of the band; but I didn't fall, even though my bionic shoulder profile drew a few stares!!! See you very soon in 2008 and my next news letter will contain more updates on tours and recording, all of which promises to be very exciting!
